Some of the highlights of the album include "Bread & Butter", a playful song about love and food; "Rock 'N' Roll Delight", a tribute to rock legends such as Chuck Berry and Elvis Presley; "Hopelessly Stoned", a ballad about being addicted to someone; and "Wake Alone", a haunting song about loneliness and regret.

Old Tyme Religion is a refreshing and original album that showcases Hugo's talent and versatility as an artist. It is a must-listen for anyone who enjoys rock, blues or bluegrass music, or who is looking for something different and exciting in the music scene.

Hugo Chakra was born in England as Hugo Chakrabongse Levy, the son of a Thai prince and an English mother. He moved to Thailand with his mother when he was five years old, after his parents divorced. He grew up listening to various kinds of music, from Thai folk to American rock and rap. He learned to play guitar and started writing songs at an early age.

He began his musical career as a member of the Thai rock band Siplor, which won several awards and gained popularity in Thailand. He also collaborated with other Thai artists such as Palmy and Modern Dog. In 2009, he caught the attention of Jay-Z, who signed him to his label Roc Nation. He then moved to New York to work on his debut album, Old Tyme Religion.

Hugo Chakra has been praised for his originality and creativity as a musician. He has also been recognized for his cultural diversity and identity. He sings in both English and Thai, and incorporates elements from both cultures into his music. He has said that he wants to bridge the gap between East and West, and to share his love for music with the world.

Since the release of Old Tyme Religion, Hugo Chakra has continued to make music and explore different genres and collaborations. In 2014, he released his second album, Deep In The Long Grass, which featured more acoustic and folk-oriented songs. He also released a single, "Twitch & Tug", which was inspired by his love for fishing.

In 2017, he released his third album, àààªààà (Black and Close), which was sung entirely in Thai. The album was a tribute to his Thai roots and culture, and featured traditional instruments and melodies. He also collaborated with other Thai artists such as Stamp Apiwat and Slot Machine.

In 2020, he released his fourth album, Lacuna, which was a mix of rock, pop and electronic music. The album was influenced by his experiences of living in New York during the Covid-19 pandemic and the social unrest that followed. He also experimented with different sounds and effects, such as using a theremin and a vocoder. aa16f39245
