Here is how the explosions work.
1: First put down an egg
2: Move away from the egg so you wont get hit
3: The explosion goes of in a cross shape and damage everything it hits
4: An opaque smoke is left behind for a moment. Nothing stops you from going in to the smoke, but it can be pretty hard to see anything right now, and who knows what you might walk in to?
5: The explosion is over and the some is gone
EXTRA: An extra image showing the cross formation and a Kykling getting killed
The cross shaped explosions bring in a higher level of tactics in to the gameplay and a possibility for eggs to explode in a greater range without getting impossible to outrun.
The cross shape is aligned with the direction the kykling was standing in while putting down the egg.
