The Norwegian Game Awards started in 2007 as a spin-off from Swedish Game Awards, initiated by the sister student organizations Start NTNU (Trondheim, Norway) and Excitera (Stockholm, Sweden). It is currently organized as one of StartNTNU's projects, and is run annually by a team of 5-10 dedicated students volunteering in StartNTNU.
