I’m curious about this workshop, yet the info seem a bit inadequate… so I’m just going to throw out some questions here and if anyone has answers feel free to share. Thanks in advance.

What kind of workshop?
Game design, Development guidelines, Stage planning, Main goals, Prioritized (professional will sense what needs most attention from team to team), Organization?

A workshop is usually a short instruction followed by learning-by-doing. Will there be a set of computers or painting/sculpting materials that we can use? What do we need to bring, if anything?

Requirements?
My team is currently working on Asset editors, can I join the workshops without a working demo? Will the jury hear our pitch even if we don’t have a demo?

More detailed information has been released on the front page, sorry for the delay.
You only need a game idea to join the workshop, we don’t expect you to have a working version already :).

Thank you, I appreciate that. I’m guessing SGA’s still in the planing stage for this event. Hope to see a register button here somewhere soon :D

What should we talk about our game? Will there be a chance of showing a demo?

Is there anything intresting for programmers? Like lecture about programming relatied stuff from DICE or another company?
The thing is that i don’t think i can come and if there is anything for me, I really don’t want to miss it. Maybe it’s recorded so I can watch it on this site or something?

I had a great time at the workshop today! Thanks to the SGA-staff and everyone who participated. There were a lot off awesome (and brilliantly greedy) ideas put out there :D
A big thanks to the members of the jury as well, who took the time to provide helpful pointers to all of us :)

Ye, I agree. I enjoyed it a lot. It got a bit slow at the end but I enjoyed the event.

In behalf of the whole SGAX Crew, I can gladly say we all enjoyed the event very much. As I was mingling with the participants of the event, I heard a lot of great feedback and can say that it seemed that the majority of the people (if not all) felt that it was time well spent. Of course, nothing is ever perfect but that doesn’t stop us from striving for perfection. We will all try to make the event even better next time. If you have any ideas, feedback or tips to make future events better, don’t hesitate to contact the appropriate SGA Crew member. The contact information can be found here: http://gameawards.se/organizer_roles (this link can also be found under “About us”—> “Organizers” in the menu at the top).
