Warmup Competition -- Got a clue?

So, this years Warmup Competition comes with daily clues, as you might have noticed. What do they mean? Can anyone figure them out? Here is the place to discuss just that—the warmup clues! What do you think?

Someone told me the clues where too easy. Do you agree?

I haven’t figured it out yet, and I don’t think most people can make an assumption close enough to work with.

Too easy!? In that case I must be really stupid… unless the theme is something like “A penguin Samurai must avenge his father’s death in the autumn… against tanks! While declaring his independence from his evil wife!”... No, they are not too easy, but they shouldn’t be, either. It’s just for fun, and on the first day of the competition, I’m looking forward to an explanation to how all these weird clues can have anything to do with each other…

Hahaha, that was mad-funny. Anyone who pulls off that idea will get rewarded with a honorary mention. Sadly, I can not offer more than that. x]
Seriously though, I wonder who think it is too easy and if said person actually have figured out the theme already. And you’re right, they aren’t supposed to be too easy. They’d be give-aways and not clues if everyone would have it figured out by now. =p

Autumn seems to be a recurring detail… that’s really the only thing I have so far…

The second clue is really not saying anything… the word Clue is crossed over, and the screen is full of “XXX” (porn theme this year? don’t think so…) and three X:es at the bottom, which I believe is on the SGA crew’s t-shirts this year. And a vague pattern in the background. Onni thought maybe the X meant that one of the rules this year would be “One button only”, but I don’t think so.
Another chain of thought I had with my girlfriend was that maybe there is a connection between the autumn leaves and the Bjork-video, since Bjork is a tree… (Björk, Birch) Seems far-fetched though.

I think you guys are doing good. Maybe the last few clues will give new insight.
I thought I’d help all of you by posting some info and rules here.
General Information
The Game Awards Warmup is a an annual online-based competition for all of those who cannot compete in the main competition and as a warmup for those also competing in the main competition. The warmup is a small-scale competition that lasts for a week. This year it starts on the 9th November.
Every year has a special theme that all games must adapt to. The theme and the rules are released at the beginning of the competition. The warmup competition is open to everybody (also non-students)! So cancel all meetings, gather a team and prepare yourselves for the competition!
There are two prizes in the warmup competition, one for the Warmup winner and one for the People’s Choice winner. The first winner will be chosen by a jury of professionals and the latter by your fellow Game Awards community members.
The 2008 competition run of Swedish Game Awards was the first to have a proper warmup competition. The theme was “vikings in the future” and with only modest promotion 15 games were submitted, all with different takes on the future and on vikings. Games ranged from dance games to drink-beer-and-avoid stuff-action! Since then the competition has been a great success with many unique and amazing games. We are therefore very proud to once again host the Warmup and hope you find this years rules and theme exhilarating and challenging!

Rules
§1 – Participation
To participate in the Warmup Competition you need to be a Swedish resident or Swedish citizen. You do not, however, need to be a student to participate. Participants may be associated with, but not sponsored by, a company in the games or entertainment industry. It should be clear that it is the participant and not the company that is behind the entry. This is to encourage both students and independent developers.
§2 – Profile & Screenshots
To participate you need to have a 100% filled out profile on www.gameawards.se. Additionally, you need to upload at least two in-game screenshots while the competition is open.
§3 – Requirements
The game submitted must follow the requirements to be able to compete in the warmup competition. These requirements will be released when the competition opens. If a game does not follow the requirements, it will be instantly disqualified and removed from the Swedish Game Awards Warmup website.
§4 – Technology
Games may use any technology. The final submission must be a zip-file with either a standalone exe/installer or all files and folders needed to install the game. The game should run on the Windows XP operating system.
§5 – Dates and Submission
The competition starts at 08:00 (CET) on the 9th of November 2009, at which time the theme and requirements competing games will be released. The deadline for submissions is 23:59:59 (CET) on the 15th of November.
§6 – Disqualifications
Swedish Game Awards reserves the right to disqualify any entry, no matter what reason.
Requirements
§1 – Theme
Follow the theme. It is however open for interpretation. The theme will be announced on the 9th of November.
§2 – Controls
Only specific control schemes will be allowed. Control scheme requirements will be announced on the 9th of November.
§3 – Limitations
Certain limitations to the game will be given. The limitations will be announced on the 9th of November
Judgement
§1 – Warmup Judgement
The entries in the warmup competition will be judged by the professionaly jury by only one criteria – fun! Make sure you make the game as fun as possible.
§2 – Judgement People’s Choice
Members of the Game Awards community will be able to vote for their favourite games in the competition, with the most voted-for game selected as winner of the People’s Choice award.

I just get further away with every clue I get :P, I wonder what the answer could be.
Would anyone dare to make a guess?
EDIT: As you may have noticed the timer in the warmup page displays the wrong time as it was counting down to midnight, the actuall time for the revealing is 08:00 CET like the rules says. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

Is it just me that get a error when I try to submit a new entry?

Fredrik: could you give some details on the error message you’re getting? Are you sure you have filled in both tagline and description, etc?
