Description
A game that I like to call an "arcade style life simulation". 1-4 players pick a character each(most characters are the "spirits" of different foods), these characters mainly differ in how they fight but they also have preset personalities that may be used if you choose not to allow customization of the personality. The game is played like a platformer, but on a sandbox map. The goal of the game is to survive(dangers include starving, being killed by other players/monsters, becoming sick, falling into pits...) and collect points. Points are gained constantly by keeping the character in a good mood, but can also be gained in some other ways(picking up bonuses that spawn randomly, or participating in festivals for example). Being in a very bad mood for too long punishes the player by transforming their character into a monster that need to kill players or animals to survive. The game features cycling seasons, random weather and night system that lets candles or lamps light up the night. Every now and then a random event will happen, to mix things up. It also features achievments that unlock new content, to give the game a sort of "meta goal" or something. Hopefully, some sort of "fun" will emerge from this if I add enough content and craziness!
